the ceiling texture wasn't the problem, it was just the bottom floor's ceiling. I also need to add some more bushes + darken because the lights got deleted when i tried ape's idea of using light_enviroment

( this happened) Image
(too bright + trees crazy shades)

Your map? cause it looks sweet!!!

Couple of things:

1) I guess you're planning to do it later on, but you should add a bit more detail inside the house. More furniture here and there, more paintings on the walls, etc

2) There is still something wrong with your lighting:

3) If you don't fix this light, we're gonna have to wear sunglasses with lights like these :P this while the rest of the outside part really is pitch black

4) Small thing with this hatch:

Here you see it right after I destroyed the plank above it

But when I move around it a bit, I suddenly see this:

I think you must have two brushes inside each other. But for the rest, add some more details as said, fix these issues and it's shaping up to be a good first map.

I have no idea wtf is wrong with the lighting, because it works ok for me. Maybe if I turn off HDR it'll work. As for the hatch, guess I could just make both break at once.

You really have to make the outside area brighter too.

If I do that then the Ts will be able to see the CTs. I'm trying to work against that.

anywho, here's the update of my map
http://www.homicidalape.mybigspoon.com/ ... _test4.zip

Things I know are wrong but dunno how to fix em:

1) Aparently the lighting was too bright, but I off'd the HDR so tell me if it re-occurs

2) The two hossies at the very back in the bigger rooms are apparently scared to leave those two rooms and will do anything to go around. Anyone see why?

3) The house is a little barren. How can I add more materials without cluttering up the place?

4) CTs start with scouts/tmps but onl with one clip. How can I fix that?
