Falling props

I really can't find how to do this. My props keep flipping over or falling down whenever I play the map unless I check the "Motion Disabled" flag. Checking the Motion Disable flag makes Nipper sad because he can't shoot my bottles and barrels and paintings up.
So what entity do I have to use and are there specific options that are not set up by default that have to be changed? Is it props_physics_override or props_dynamic_override?

I'm pretty sure that happens if the object isn't placed right on the floor. Do you have them floating above the ground a little bit?

put them as close to the floor as possible without actually touching it

Did you try the Start Asleep flag? They'll just sit there and whatnot, but the moment you shoot them or bump into them they'll react.
