umm, i just figured you'd want to share your map and have people test it. If you don't want people outside the map creators themselves testing it then that's cool, just saying that it would be fun to test them.

I wasn't saying only the mappers can download them, I was suggesting something like only the mappers AND the trusted old time members can. But forget about it. We'll be more careful.

Anyways, here is my first room:

They're thin brushes, obviously. DUH

Yup, Ape got it. They're 1 unit thick brushes tied to func_illusionary, and the texture has the

"$nocull" 1

property in its .vmt file. Nocull makes it so that the texture is visible from both sides, even if there are nodraw faces on the other side of the brush, which is what's on the other side of those rings.

So who's all in on this?
-Nipper
-Alpha
-Blip
-Ape
-AMMO?
-Me

I can't wait to see this. I hope I can make a map worthy of being in the mappack :)

I haven't mapped in quite a while, but I'm sure I could give it a try.

I might give this a shot, it'll be nice to get a map finished and released.

Just one advice, if you're quite new to mapping and haven't made a map for a mappack before (meaning there IS a due date even if it's not yet set for this pack): start mapping now. Not in a few weeks, not in a few months but now.

if you're new to mapping you really shouldn't bother. Anyone still learning the basics of hammer most likely won't be able to make something up to par with what we want for this mappack.
