i agree fuck FPSB, the first maps will get thousands of downloads no matter how good they are or where they are hosted. look at lazytown on TF2, it was the first custom map, buggy and ugly as hell, and it STILL has servers hosting it.

Fuck FPSB we can't just not port any textures to our maps because FPSB will do stupid about it. I bet even Valve doesn't give a shit.

Yeah. During the demo, I put all settings at their lowest possible settings, and my computer still choked during the large hoards of Infected. An upgrade for this computer has been long overdue. I just have to wait until I have the funds to finally give myself the bad-ass game-playing computer that I deserve!

So instead of bumping this old mappack thread with l4d stuff, maybe it's time to make it more or less official.
Can someone (*cough*NIPPER*cough*) make the project on FPSB so the ones interested can join? I didn't start mapping yet but I already have a bunch of textures. I made a 1 room testmap with those textures and they look pretty dark... fitting for a zombie theme as long as it indoors. I plan to make the only outdoor areas safe zones.
Just a question: how big is a map supposed to be? Is a size rougly the same as as_moria (1.6) big enough?

Also, how much time do we have? To be honest, I think I'll need quite some time since I make the textures myself + the bumpmaps. But I'll try to hurry up.
