Possibly. This is kinda hard to explain, but bear with me. I have two different wallpaper screens that I want to use for the computer monitor, and the computer model for cs_office uses two seperate .vtf's and corresponding .vmt files for alternate monitor skins. One for the desktop that you see in the map, and one for making the monitor look like it's turned off (happens when shot, or set as an alternate skin).

I would have to use 3 .vtf and .vmt files - two for the different desktop variations, and one for the monitor's "off" state when it gets damaged (which I would just use the one that is already used). That would mean having to make it recognize the new skin and having it know which one to go to when it gets damaged. And that I have no idea how to do. That kind of stuff is probably configured when the model is actually made. And I know nothing about model-making.

If all that made ANY sense to anyone that could help, I may be able to salvage this map idea for this mappack. Until then, i'll be playing Silent Hill to take some reference pictures.

I just posted a hammer screen of what I've got so far at our fbsp studio. Not much to look at but you should be able to figure out what I'm doing at least.

I have mine from the Halloween before last.
It was supposed to be done then.
Then I said I would do it for last Halloween.
I didn't finish it.

I'm gonna go ahead and say I will get it done for this Halloween, and that I have a playable version right now but....

Its probably not gonna get done.

I just got back from vacation. Sorry for my absence, I have some catching up to do. Can anyone give me a quick heads-up of what happened in the last week?
By the way, since everyone was doing it, I added my WiP too with an insignificant Hammer screenshot

I was going to say nothing happened but then I noticed Blip posted a hammer shot too.

I'm almost finished sealing off the outdoor part of my map, so mine is coming along good. I have a horrible feeling it won't compile easily though. :(

With the final weeks of school coming to a close, map progress has slowed down for me. I have 3 big final projects, and 3 final exams to worry about, but after that it should be smooth sailing. Making a Silent Hill foggy-world map is pretty easy.

I'm progressing. It's similar to boohouse... I'm not coming up with something really totally new, but I'm trying to make it really really creepy. Much more creepy than boohouse.
Here is a screenshot of a room which needs better lighting, but it should give you an idea.
