Ok so here is the scavenge only version of Night Terror (map 4). It's ok if you give this to friends to play or test it but please, make sure you can trust said friends that they won't distribute it any further. This is just a solo map for testing purposes only. I want to see how the gameplay plays out and see if there are game breaking bugs so that I can put an improved version in the full release of Night Terror.
Ideally, this map stays in j2 only but if you want to give it to a few of your friends that's ok too as long as THEY don't give it to anyone else. This map is NOT supposed to be distributed to the great public. It's purely for playtesting and I really don't want to find this shit on L4Dmaps or L4Dmods seperately. It's supposed to be a part of the whole campaign.

It's possible that the gameplay will be absolutely horrifyingly bad. I have no idea how it plays out as I haven't playtested it myself.
If you have any comments, please let me know but again, the gameplay might be fun but it might as well be terrible. I probably won't be able to playtest it with you because A) I'm not a big fan of Scavenge and B) the time zone differences make it very hard for me to play with j2ers.

So Nipper, I got a little surprise for you. A while ago, Valve sent a mail to the L4D Mappers Mailing list saying they took requests for voice clips for custom campaigns.
I asked if he could have the actors make one of the survivors say something along the lines of "whoa! Zombies AND ghosts! Awesome!"
And apparently, they did. The voice lines for the community are stored in
common/left 4 dead 2/left4dead2_dlc1/sound/player/survivor/voice
And came with the DLC. So there you go, voice clip for Haunts :)

I also asked him to make one referring to the boulder trap in the jungle ruins. I wonder if that one's there too.

I think I only asked for two clips: the boulder trap one and the ghost one for Nipper.
I can't believe Valve took time to take requests from the mapping community for this. It's awesome.

Nipper, I'm gonna send you a new version of my map. One where the boulder trap clip is used. I'll also leave out the scavenge version since I couldn't playtest it with people and Scavenge doesn't seem to be that popular anyways. I'll also see if I can reduce the size a bit... I suppose I still have time to send you another version right?
