Well after months and months we finally have something almost playable. I’d like to hear from some j2 people and make sure all the textures and sounds and stuff work before I go posting this all over the internet.

Haunts should have haunted mansion sounds and JungleRuins should have jungle sounds.
If you see purple and black checkerboard that’s not part of the map so tell me pls.

The nav will break on Haunts and Moria if you die. And you will die on moria for sure. Just changelevel and it should fix it. This is the main bug I’m hoping someone out there can figure out how to fix for me.

A lot of areas are low detail and need touching up but I’m not too concerned about that little stuff.
Items are scarce on my maps. You won’t get tier 2 until the great hall in moria and you’ll have to search for them.

For those who keep asking me:

Yes, we plan to make this Versus supported, but we want to polish the Co-Op version first and make sure all bugs are gone before doing that.

Also check for the next stuff if you want to help us:

- Are there places where you can go, but you shouldn't
- Do you have severe lag on some spots
- (this is mainly for my map) Are there spots that you think could use some sounds for atmosphere?
- Force trigger some of the alarm events (things that set off and attract a swarm if you shoot it) and see if the horde comes in at you from multiple directions and see if it works well
- Was Bush the worst president ever?
- Are there too many/not enough items on some maps?
- Overall, did you honestly have fun playing the campaign and what changes would you make?

I'm not even sure you have to toss it in there. If you unpack the rar anywhere on your PC, all you have to do is double click the vpk. It will copy itself where it should be.
I think.

I had one of the tanks spawn on the other side of the breakable wall in the finale. I've had a tank spawn on the stairs room of haunts and fall to his death immediately. :D

posted it here

I spent 45 minutes uploading it there and I guess it didn't work. Now I have to wait 24 hours before I can try again :?

it was fun as hell
my main gripe however, is that in comparison to Nippers levels, Boo's level is practially drowning you in pills

Visit Goozex to trade your old games and get newer ones for pennies on the dollar! I've traded on there for a while now and I can't recommend the site enough.

Thanks for telling me. I'll either have to reduce the amount of peelz distributed, or if Nipper agrees, maybe he should have more peelz on his maps. Depends on the fact if you think my map had too much or his has too little. But I figured that on Advanced or Expert, the amount of peelz is important.
However, there are two Medkits on the map and I'd like to find out how to randomize those. Right now, they both always spawn in 99% of the cases.
And yeah Nipper Ive had that happen too on Haunts once. I get out of the stretching room, immediately hear TADAAAAA TADAAAAAA from the Tank music I was like "shit shit Tank where is that fat fuck?"... then the music stops and I realised he got shredded to pieces by the ghosts in the mansion I guess :D

And yeah guys, lets organise a moment where we play this together... even if it's only Co-Op supported right now and thus only holds four players. But please (please) try to find a moment on a friday or saturday where the time here isn't in the middle of the night

By the way, Nipper, you might want to add a link to the download on your screenshots page the domain www.l4dnt.com is pointing to. When people want to join a lobby that plays the campaign, they'll be given the choice to visit the page you gave the URL for in the txt file to download it. If said page doesn't have a visible link to the campaign, they won't be able to download it and won't be able to join the lobby.

And it won't interfere with future versions: the fact that the txt says the version is "1" while future versions will have another number there will automatically make the people who still have the old version go to the page and "update" their version.

It already has 2000+ downloads on l4dmaps. A lot of people complaining about the nav errors though. :(

Also, I agree that Boo should lower the amount of pills on his map.

Nipper, if you agree and want me to help, could you send me the latest version of your nav file? I want to find the cause of the fucking problem!
Also, I think Moria needs a few molotovs or pipes for the crescendo events... I jus tplayed it with Ammo and two other guys and it was really so tough on Advanced we had to put it on Normal.
