Try asking Nipper or decompile de_chopperattack2 or blackhawkdown and seeing how the helicopters work on those maps.

How about a map based on Inception, where the hallway in the hotel keeps turning?

I've watched that a few times and I'm still not sure how he did it. But even if you could replicate it accurately in CS:S, I doubt it would make a playable area because it looks like teleports.

Then you can just make a hallway that spins.
It can't be hard to make an object spin.
I know you can create motion paths in SDK.

Walking on moving things in CS:S is really glitchy. It could be done, but I've already got a twisted hallway that is motionless, but still maintains the idea that it was, well, twisted.

Get everyone drunk so they think the walls are spinning when it's just a straight hallway.

I do have a question: Is there a way to force textures to 'fit' to an irregular brush? ie, a trapezoid?
I don't think it's worthy of a new thread because of its simplicity.

I don't believe so. But try using a decal or an overlay.

That's a good idea. Thanks, I was trying to clip it into smaller brushes and rotate the texture, which looked really odd.
