And so the new series begins. I need to see a few more episodes to really get a feel for this new doctor, but I"m liking the prospects of a more serious tone. Although the new intro looks cool, the new music is fuck awful for it.

As a man who has no cable at all I have to wait till it's on the internet. I'll give it about a week. :P

Just saw the new episode. I loved the ending.

All in all, I really like Peter. :B

I am, I just haven't had much free time :)

I enjoyed the darker attitude of the new doctor. Hope it lasts this time.

It was immersion breaking but entertaining to watch an actor mock his own face.

So Season 8 is over, what did everyone think of the last 2 episodes?

Missy pretty much stole the entire show in pretty much every scene she was in so I loved her to bits. Without spoiling anything all I can say is I loved the finale and and holy shit, Nick Frost.

Gotta leave for work in a minute so no time to put up spoiler tags at the moment.

[spoilers]
VIEW CONTENT:
To be honest I think they tried to fit too many events into the last two episodes. And while I liked the return of the Master and stuff, some other things felt wrong to me. The fact that the Asthmatic assistant died and no one really cared just seemed kind of unaddressed properly. While I liked the idea of the Nethersphere, I don't think it was properly given a good background and explanation. Another thing was the building in the middle of London where you could talk to the dead- How was it hidden there, why there, and just why? To be honest I liked the episode but mainly because I like the show. The Clara/Current Doctor dynamic is definitely not one of my favorites and I actually don't like the character of Clara on the show as much as I did her early appearances. I liked the Christmas setup at the end okay.
