I'd like to see scouts uncover spies on contact like in TFC. except i'd like to see it a small aura rather than contact. can't you imagine the spy getting uncovered while he's in the middle of sapping those three sentries.

I'd LOVE it if when you looked at a person and said they're a spy via the radio command that they would be uncovered. It would be so great, but then people would just spam the command like crazy.

Maybe if you couldn't shoot for 5-10 seconds if you were wrong might balance it, though I can't think of a legitimate reason it could cause you to not be able to shoot.

you'd feel depressed because you suspected a good friend of yours that you'd drop your gun so you have to pick it up again or whatever

I usually will just run into possible spies to see whether they are actually spies.

But, then, they usually stab me and damage me pretty badly by the time I kill them.

Another thing that I try sometimes is shooting them once with my pistol and looking to see if they bleed, but that sometimes pisses them off if they are on my team, so I try to avoid it.

Ya, but friendly fire does make it harder to spot spies, in my opinion, it just adds a little more excitement. Overall, I think friendly fire makes the game more interesting...
