this thread's title made me giggle

also most pyros aren't smart enough to spy check given how everyone's a pyro now and seeing a pyro isn't very suspicious
plus no engineers to bitch to them about how they need to spy check
basically the advice for pyros should be "the second you see a backstab kill spy check everything including dispensers"

True Veer. But my theory is that the friendly fire servers give magical invisible x-ray seethrough spy disguise glasses that work only except when Dugan and other noteable spies play!

Spies are pretty easy to spot out. Most of the time I can tell right away if someone is a spy or not. There are some people who know what to do really well (dugan, etc) that can make it look like they're not a spy, but most people are a little underexperienced.

Yeah sometimes when I am at work and some one asks me something I make them assure me they aren't Dugan. The bad part is like 42% of the time it is actually him.

As a side note, this guide is entirely useless when you're facing against excellent spies.
They're goddamn heatseeking invisible knife missiles.

Disguises never work unless the other person is gullible.

Quite often you see people who look suspicious enough to check by shooting, and if their health is above half anyways (which it must be) it isn't usually a problem, especially as an engineer, or short bursts with a heavy, or... well, most classes have ways to shoot without doing much damage. I can't remember playing a game with Dugan as spy... It seems I'm lucky.

I don't like being medic against dugan as a spy unless I have decent spy checking pyros on my team

Just make sure the pyro is a well-known pyro player -- most pyros nowadays are more offensive and less "hmmmm this looks like a good spot/path for a spy".
