Team Fortress 2 Pictures/Videos
Re: Team Fortress 2 Pictures/Videos
Yeah I'm all for that, actually. Someone said there was a speed powerup, which wouldn't be too bad. But the quad damage one is just annoying.

Re: Team Fortress 2 Pictures/Videos
I'm most likely just going to remove the map in general since:
1. It's almost impossible to get the enemy flag w/o your teammates helping you out with power-ups.
2. From what I read from the creators post the flags like to bug out.
3. Scooby hates the map.

Re: Team Fortress 2 Pictures/Videos
It is a really bad layout for a map, and the power ups almost never spawn. It seems to be dumb luck if you happen to be there at the right time or you're not helping your team while you sit there and wait.

Removed powerups.
Also you don't need to decompile the map to remove/add/change pointents. Only brush entities require remaking the map. Use entspy, tweak the entities you need, and save without optimization (to preserve the checksum). For my tweak, I deleted the case which spawns the powerup entities. If it didn't work, there's a *.bsp.bak on the box. Just switch that one back.

Re: Team Fortress 2 Pictures/Videos
There are way to many pony's on a remake of a doom/quake/whatever ID title it was from map, I played that map I played the crap out of that map and to see it done in a farce of MLP is just sad, it isn't even a good farce it's a awkward recreated farce that doesn't play well in TF2 with more then 8 players or so. If it was meant to be MLP it should have a different color palette and if it was meant to be doom/quake they shouldn't have MLP they are graphically a head on collision. The layout is too easy to turtle, it takes 1-2 engineers to stop any progression at all. There is also the outrage of anything more MLP on the servers/forums since the MLP fans seems to have not gotten the hint that everyone else is sick and tired of it and have removed any goodwill they had between each other.

The map was fine, it would have been better without the weird power ups though.

That map looks like it should be banished by being shot from a cannon into the sun.
It's just wrong and looks like one of those trade server maps.
Still I applaud Yatta for trying to improve it, but overall looks like a lost cause.
Anyway, I'm content to stay in the tv forum with "that" topic and have no plans to further it here.
