As the buyer, you should care greatly for the current average price of the item you wish to purchase, because nobody's going to sell said item to you at such a great loss without a reason to do so (i.e. generosity)

Still, could care less about the 'going price', if people can buy craft hats for 1 flat ref when they generally go for 1.66 and higher, I can buy keys at a cheaper price. I'm not paying out the ass for a key, and if people don't like it, they can keep their shit. Simple as that. I got the patience to buy stuff at cheaper prices.

If you're going to cite an example, at least cite an existent one, people are stubborn as hell trading for craft hats, 1.66 isn't going to ever cut it unless the buyer doesn't know what they're doing. Craft hats are 1-1.33 refined, and it's been that way for literally years.
