I accidentally combined an untradable metal without realising. NEVER craft at 1am QQ

did they change how often items drop? i've gotten 1 item in the past ~6 hours i've been playing.

Don't think so but that is unusual.
You should get an item every 30-70 minutes(that's not a guess, the dice is rolled to see when you will next get an item with a min of 30mins and max of 70) to a maximum of 10 hours total per week(resets on Thursdays). Once you exceed that 10hours in a week, you will not get any more until the next Thursday. Crates do not count, they are totally random.
If you are playing on a quick or no respawn timer server then there isn't enough time for the notification. You're account has been tagged as received it(think of it as it's been sent to you) bit it just hasn't shown up in your backpack yet(hasn't been "delivered" yet).
The next time you launch TF2 or respawn on another server that has normal respawn time you'll get it.

Selling (managed to off load some stuff, so here's a little more updated list):
Grenadier's Softcap - 2 ref
Vintage Prof. Panama - 2 ref
Glenglarry Bonnet - 1 ref


Please note that I am looking for metal. I'm not trading for any other hat (unless it's one that I am looking for, but none of these have the 1:1 cost, so I doubt anyone would offer that).

Oh, and also, Wolsky, can I get my cone back? I've been going to trading servers and off loading hats I don't want now (since I used to don't - it was why I gave it to you to trade in the first place), but now that I do, I've got a feeling what to expect on those servers.
