Or at least craft hats value is going to tank. Everyone who got L4D 2 for free on Christmas are now getting Ellis Cap's and Pans. Oh no.

(Two Ellis Caps can be crafted into any craft hat at random.)

You would have been right if they just dropped a bunch of Bill's Hats on everyone, but Ellis Cap and the Pan aren't worth much.
