Does anyone have the uncompiled map file for rooftime?

Anything dealing with the game Team Fortress 2 or the servers we host for it.

Looks good so far spongebobby, just make sure to add a lot of the fences that nipper did otherwise that's just too much airblasting.

Also, the only thing missing is a water area to utilize pyroshark.

There's a map out called badwater_rainy where about 60% of the map is just underwater. Pyroshark land.

It might be quite awhile before the map's actually finished; still working on the red spawn/point. I've only just discovered the wonders of Hammer and I'm still working out all the intricacies of the system; so far, it's proven to have a very intuitive and user-friendly interface.

That aside, the map will be centered around 3 control points and I was wondering if there was anything you guys would want to see added in this map.

Yeah I guess that's a very simplified way of putting it. It slices up the visleafs which dictate what portions of the map you're rendering at any given point. The hint brush gives you control to optimize a map by sectioning off regions that may be included in a visleaf when they shouldn't be. In a nutshell, you're making the map run smoother by designating areas in the map that do not need to be rendered because they're not visible from a certain location.

For instance.. using an angled hint brush in the below example, the game can now avoid rendering the barrels in the top hallway when you're by the section of barrels in the bottom left hallway and vise versa. Obviously, it will render both barrel sections when you're at the perpendicular angle.

I stopped basing it off of rooftime a long time ago; now it's just the roof aspect.

I'm starting to become heavily concerned that the geometry of this map may just be too complex for casual play.
