We should totally change 2x overheal. It's getting pretty stale. I'd prefer if we set it back to default but barring that we should at least change it to 4x overheal. What could go wrong?

The TF4 population would have a collective heart-attack if x2 overheal was removed overnight, you need to ease them into it over time by slowly scaling it down

Unfortunately, the balancing system between sniper rifles makes heavy (see hwat i did there) use of damage buffs and nerfs, meaning that just tacking on extra damage upon reaching full charge would greatly upset that system, along with making bodyshots even more feasible in a server where people seem to adore going airborne. To me, the easiest method would seem to be adding a flat percentage critical damage buff upon reaching full charge to all sniper rifles (no, not the Ambassador, you're a terrible person if you're playing Spyper anyways). Or just get rid of double overheal already.

So that is why the overheals are so weird, the medic from last season was confused by the higher overheal numbers when he joined tf4 last.

Default overheal would allow for snipers to kill the heavies easier from a full charged headshot, and might make it easier on teams having issues with a medic+heavy, medic+demo, or medic+pyro combo.
