I asked David Geffen personally if he'd donate to TF4 for me, but he wouldn't do it

Re: Critical Hits
The question isn't so much whether random crits disrupt the flow of gameplay or cause imbalance, but rather, whether we as a community want to include the dynamic they bring to the game.
Random crits were implemented primarily to help offset the instances where an opposing team of higher skilled players would, 100% of the time, defeat a weaker skilled team. This causes a bit more unpredictability in a game, and for more casually focused players, it's totally fine because the dynamic of the game doesn't really change that much for them-- they don't generally place as much focus on tight mechanics and clutch plays to achieve victory, instead focusing on performing well on their own terms (whether this means doing the objective, scoring points via kills, healing/supporting allies, or just having fun and dicking around).
The only thing you would see definitively happen from removing random crits is removing the random chance that a player might die from a hit they wouldn't normally die from. If we want our server to be more skill focused, then you may believe this is a perfectly fine reason to remove random crits, but if the majority of our players simply want to have fun with friends and don't care so much about random deaths every now and then, then it might be better to leave it in.
Either way, you could solve this question with simple vote.
