once you join the community you can simply right click on everyone in the community to add them as friends

SCREENSHOTS:

In Game Community, Shift + Tab to activate; can be changed
ADDING NON-STEAM GAMES TO STEAM (2142) -- These can even be renamed, according to blank.

I had already invited a couple of j2ers on my friends list (like Ammo and Ape), but had to leave for work so I didn't get most of them.

When bl4nk accepts I'll add him as admin so he can do what he pleases.

Well as it turns out I can't make bl4nk an admin, however I can make him an 'officer'. I've set it so officers can do anything that an admin can.

Blank and I are having some troubles with that too. I think they're being hammered right now, or maybe fixing something. It IS beta.

Also, with this update you can add your own games/programs to the Steam My Games list. Just go to Games - Add a non-Steam game to My Games and choose the game/program. If you right click on it when it's added and click on properties, you can change the name of it, and even edit the command line in case you need anything special.
