The puzzles have also been changed, and quite a bit more depth added to some of the maps.

There's also a lot details they added to the gameplay, the visuals, and the general atmosphere of the game. More than I think I can make a count of in fact. It feels like the rare remake or reboot of a classic film that actually pays respectful homage to the original.

The only real complaint I can think of so far is the voice acting of the grunts. Its obviously just the devs shouting in their mics but its tolerable considering the quality of everything else.

Plus you can throw shit at scientists now.

Shit's fun. Best way to play through the first half life again, even if you've beaten it a dozen times. It's free and should run on any computer that exists right now.

Also a lot of the dialogue they've added is hilarious. When you do the microwave explosion and the guy is like "Why don't you make like a __ and __" and you can talk to him over and over to get like 8 different things in the __.
