I never understood why HL-Source isn't free to anyone who owns HL. CSS was and I didn't even want it. Altho that may have something to do with never having paid for CS in the first place, I dunno.

sorry i am not trolling, i just don't get it. it's the same game with high quality textures, basically, right? i mean i guess that's cool but i would never play through it again just for better textures

I don't know why not. I probably break out HL once every couple of years just for the hell of it, more if there's a new weapons/skin pack for it so I can change up the experience. I don't think I would pay for a different version of it, but I'm definitely replaying this when it comes out.

I know right. I wasn't expecting this mod to ever come out but I just spent the last hour just getting through the beginning.

There's so many things you can mess with and so many little eastereggs scattered about. Now it makes sense why they took so long. These guys were the most meticulous people that could have been working on it, and its just great.
