I'm just saying that if you were to list hobbies of yours, and do it honestly, then I'm sure I could pick them apart for being a "waste of money/time" or "kinda creepy"

there's nothing creepy about someone of any age liking an action figure. Especially if it's game related and they happen to be a fan of the game as well, in that case it's just merchandise to buy to support the franchise they love. It's no different from buying one of the tf2 figures or t-shirts or plushies or any other merchandise.
