I see what steam is trying to pull. Make the game free, then shut the servers down so nobody can actually get the game... Servers will come back when the game isn't free giving the illusion that they were nice and gave the game away for free when really very few people were able to get it.

I got it. Probably won't be able to play it for like, a year. Parents are silly. But l4d2 goes on sale for EVERYONE to get for free? That's not valve being nice, that's hype!!
