YES HYPERION IS THE FUCKING SHIT THAT BOOK KICKS SOME SERIOUS ASS

I'm currently reading The Broom of the System, by David Foster Wallace. can definitely tell that it's a little more rough hewn than Infinite Jest
I asked David Geffen personally if he'd donate to TF4 for me, but he wouldn't do it

Honestly it will be a while, and while I thoroughly enjoy some chapters, others bore the hell out me and lower my wanting to read it.

Since I haven't finished the book, I believe you are talking about the scene with Larry towards halfway to halfway of the book?

I enjoyed the buildup and anticipation of it, but thought the payoff of the scene was kinda meh since

Juggling Gibson's Mona Lisa Overdrive and Henry Kissenger's On China. Both highly recommended for obviously different reasons.

I tried Mona Lisa Overdrive, couldn't get into it. I like old gibson more, I guess. though I've heard a lot of really great things about his new book, I will have to give it a try

I was on vacation in Williamsburg, VA a week or two ago, and went through the shops in the hipster part of town, and found a dusty old bookstore in the basement of an antique store, owned by this cool old guy, looked like a Steven King/ Robert Klein lovechild. Anyway, I had a great haul from there, and also got C&P from a Barnes and Noble, cuz I adore this ultra-fancy classics set they put out

It bothered me too, but what's worse is that it's inconsistent

Started reading the Witcher books last week.

Finished The Last Wish last Thurusday and I'm almost done with Blood of Elves. Really loving the series so far, only real problem I have are the covers for the American prints, they suck.
