Is anyone here participating in NaNoWriMo?

You spend the whole month of November writing a novel, of at least 50,000 words.

I'm trying to participate this year, right now I have 2,462 words. You're supposed to do about 1,700 a day, but I kind of forgot about doing it on the first day (oops). I heard about it for the first time last year, but I really didn't get very far with it (~ 200 words).

Is there anyone interested? It's not too late to be able to make up for lost time.

I'm hoping that participating will make it easier for me to write longer papers while I'm in college, and help me develop a better flow to my writing. Also, I think that it would be pretty neat to say that I've written a novel! Hopefully I will be able to stick with it

Not really interested in writing a novel now, but when I'm a tinge bit older (and if I'm still commited) I will attemp to write 2 books.

One series of books based on the classic game boy game Fire Emblem: Sacred Stones,
and another series about 7 teens with super powers each based off the seven deadly sins, but I'm not sure I have the capability or time to write them now, and I don't want to rush anything.

Happening in April and July.

I think I'm going to take the time in April to try to finish my novel. At the end of november I was ~27,000+ words in and I think it would be worth it to try and finish it, and then next November start fresh =)
