By far the best book I read all year. Can't really give a good synopsis without spoiling shit, but it was very good. If you haven't read it, I'd suggest picking it up. It pretty much got me into Stephen King! Moving to The Shining next.

11/22/63 is a novel by Stephen King about a time traveler who attempts to prevent the assassination of President John Fitzgerald "Jack" Kennedy, which occurred on November 22, 1963

I remember reading this about 2 years back, and yeah, i can totally recommend it. I especially enjoyed the whole "Universe itself is out to stop you" thing going on, it almost gave it a sort of lovecraftian vibe to it with the cosmic horror and whatnot.
