I don't know anything about the j2 Minecraft servers atm because I don't like Minecraft anymore and was shitty at building stuff to begin with and as much as I love twelve year olds I like to be able to tell if the person I'm gaming with is male or female from their voice and I'm banned from the servers for various reasons including forceful circumcisions of small children with a deadly weapon. However, I do browse the Minecraft subforum occasionally because I like to challenge myself to find 3 intelligent comments within the first 3 non-stickied threads threads on the front page (try it some time it's great fun), and it's a great way to procrastinate.

One thing I do play a lot of is League of Legends (so casual, I know) and we used to have a problem with Brazilians. They would play on NA and speak Portuguese and be generally obnoxious. I'm not racist, I have many friends from South America and speak some Spanish, but let me tell you - Brazilian gamers are the fucking WORST. Anyone who has played a popular MMO will know what I'm saying. Anyway, on to the point.

Riot (the company that makes League of Casuals) gave them their own server to go and be Brazilian on. And now there are less Brazilians on NA. So as a suggestion (which will probably be shot down for whatever reason but idgaf this is Minecraft) you could make a server for all your annoying RP crafties. All you Minecraft Admin/Señor Staff types could figure out what plugins the RPers want and then they could have their own little circle of retardation in the hell that is j2 Minecraft. Some recommendations would be chat channels and some kind of town system. For example there could be a Harry Potter sex roleplay channel (dude I would totally bang Emma Watson knowhamsayin?) and town area or whatever the fuck you people do, etc.

Then you have normal creative for those poor saps who STILL enjoy building things in Minecraft. The last thing you should do is come up with survival that is actually fun. Make it fast paced. Something like that wall thing where you have X minutes to make a base then the wall comes down and everyone rapes each other in the butt with stupid TNT traps. Etc.

There. That's 3 servers right there call me a genius.

Anyway, my ideas have always been stupid so feel free to ignore me/flame me so I can cry myself to sleep over the insults of internet people. So empty, so cold, so alone...

On a more serious note, I think a daily event server could be cool, a new map a day or a loop of maps that last a month and start over.

I'd be up for configuring plugins, worlds and anything else we might need to get it running.

OT: I agree with kieraan, the daily event server would be cool, and it would be pretty smexy for the RP'ers to have there own separate channel/server where they can go as wild as there hearts content.

Honestly I couldn't agree with Collin more it's a great idea role players have taken over mc2 not that its a bad thing now that you can disable chat but when I want to talk to friends it gets kinda annoying.
