Biomes O' Plenty

Post by Singe » Sat Oct 13, 2012 4:41 am

I would have posted this to "Server game mode ideas!" but,

1. It's not really a different "game mode". There are just a lot more different sorts of biomes.
2. I don't think there's a Bukkit plugin yet so I'd be violating the "must have a link to a Bukkit plugin download" rule. But apparently there is one in the works!

Anyway, anybody heard of this? Once there's a plugin, would this be a decent thing for any of the joe.to minecraft servers? More info here http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/149 ... iomes-ssp/. Apologies if this has been brought up already somewhere in the forums and I simply missed it.

That looks amazing, although it would be very heavy for a plugin. If it's going to be added, it will be part of the actual game in later updates. Highly doubt anyone will try coding a plugin for it.

It's not possible to make only a Bukkit plugin for something like that. It would require a client mod as well as a plugin to cater for the extra blocks the mod adds.
