I've been playing Custom Modpacks with my friends, but for the most part, vanilla MC has passed it expiration date. :cry:

Yeaaaah. I remember having friends playing it in alpha. Now it's a bunch of kids. Happens to all good games. There are some people hangin in there. I am sure we have adults on j2 who play minecraft.

People do play Minecraft, it's just that vanilla isn't exactly popular anymore. Nowadays, I see lots of people on FTB servers and other modded servers.

Sorry, I coughed there, I said Techie, hows the modded idea coming along? You were open to making a modded server, so why not? Voltz is pretty good for a mc4 kinda map, where anything goes. FTB is pretty good for pretty much anything else.

I think Voltz would be good, especially as it now has the moon, it would make things much more interesting. Moon battles :P.

As for FTB anything with Thaumcraft is best used for something like MC3, because Warded stuff kinda unbalances things.

Actually guys, I invited my friend over the other day and we started a LAN server and played survival.

Minecraft is prettt boring normally, but if you play with friends and try to accomplish something, it's really fun
