cm and jugg for one..

as for ridiculous lane combos:
shadow demon & leshrac/brewmaster/kunkka
juggernaut & cm/veno
kotl & phantom lancer (especially with the new buffs to both)
naga & lina is pretty good; naga, lina, rubick is ridiculous as far as tri lanes go

i'll try to come up with a few more

dr. fisch: if you can't beat bots yet, for the love of god do not join a matchmaking game. you will have the worst time of your life. i'd say you probably need to work on your positioning more than anything. basically, stay behind your creep wave at all times in the lane. advanced positioning like where to be in team fights, ganks, etc. will come to you later on once you get more comfortable.

i think that its mostly that im not used to creeps taking off a quarter of your health per hit
and that i dont know any of the heroes
or items
or basic mechanics of the game that make it different from any other moba
