I did their survey a couple weeks back but guess invites dried up a while ago. It was my understanding that when you got an invite you're given 2 additional invites, I'd definitely accept one :P

This game blows right now.

The movement is still really heavy and jumping sucks and feels like you hit a wall, crouch peeking/corner peeking is terrible because of how slow you move.

Post processing looks like absolute shit, when its on, everything has a greyish haze to it.

When its off, its colorful and vibrant its insane.

And the deagle is still shit compared to what it should be.

It looks great, way better than CSS ever did. Movement feels fine too. Deagle seems exactly the same to me too. They set out to make a nicer more polished CS game and they appear to have done that.

The problem is that it is still just CS and Counter-Strike by today's standards is a slow and boring game.
Without func_vehicle this is a complete waste of time for everyone involved.

I am hoping Valve really nails down the movement and post processing because those are the two things putting me off about cs:go and I want cs:go to succeed more than any game.

But fuck, turn sv_cheats 1 on, go into de_aztec and type mat_postprocessing 0 and see how clean it looks, and colorful.

well strafe left and right randomly stop working if you use arrow keys so game is totally unplayable for me now yay

Just got entrance into the beta (I have one invite for anyone that wants it btw) but thanks to the beautiful timing on Valve's part I can barely download it.
