Update: Finally making some progress. Working on fine tuning vehicle control by utilizing different surface property variables. Will post more if things begin to fall into place. I am happy about figuring this part out because it has been a big issue. It just aint the same if your vehicle has ridiculous physbox characteristics with friction and drag

managed to do some testing yesterday, testing proved to be difficult since my new ISP doesn't allow me to open ports and my upload is a whopping 12KB/s. This does not help at all ofcourse.

I'm getting jeepathon2k and starwars ready to release as the vehicle stuff works good enough for me now. I was hoping to release last weekend, but got busy, when I got my hopes up to release this weekend, I realized I am gone for the weekend. :okayasfuck:

So taking into account that I want to do a few more tests before I actually release these maps, it's likely that I wont release anything before the weekend of the 19th.

OHH we're so close. I wish valve would've just realized what we wanted and added the entity in an update. Maybe there's still hope for such an update though, idk.

Also I'm no genius when it comes to this stuff, but I've heard of plugins/mods that bring the func_vehicle entity back to the game. I don't know how legit/good they are but would it be possible to install such a plugin on the j2 servers? Again, I'm not good at that kind of thing so I'm not surprised if the answer is no
