What sort of 'thing' would you want to make of it?

Switch out the ghost town of a css server currently being hosted with a CS:GO server, hopefully with a nice full library of new custom maps.

CS:S players are innately stubborn.
I recall a huge pissoff festival when they shut down the WON servers and forced players to use Steam and update from 1.5 to 1.6

EDIT: "Because Steam features automatic upgrading as part of its service, the move is sure to ruffle the feathers of the rather large community of disaffected Counter-Strike 1.5 players, who refused to upgrade to Counter-Strike 1.6 when it was released." Via a Gamespot article 2004

I'd get the CS:GO server going if I had the time and effort to do something I'd surely regret.

Would enough people play to make this worth it? Even when we ran a CS:GO server nobody joined.

I'd probs buy the game if we got a server for it.
