CS 1.6 night - Vote the Date

Post by KoD » Thu Mar 01, 2012 12:42 pm

The server should be ready by Friday, so this weekend is available for eager beavers. The event(s) will be around the same time CS:S usually gets together, ~7-9pm CST. If the population prefers a different time, please post so.

If there is over 16 votes on having multiple get-togethers, I will post a joe.to event for every night that has 16 or more votes.

You can download all of the maps, models, sounds, sprites, overviews, gfx below:

Saturdays work best for me. Sundays are okay, too.

Is it still super easy to switch HL1 mods on the server? Or did that just totally disappear with the advent of Steam? I know you can't switch mods from map to map like you could in the WON days.

Because we need some good old FnF action too.

I'm totally down to play, though for me to play with a majority of people it has to be on the weekend as you are all west coast fucks.
Because, since you don't know me, there is a great possibility that I'm on an higher intellectuel level then you are on.

I'm not sure, I think you can disable any plugin by taking it off the plugin.ini list. I only installed metamod, amxx, and a rtv plugin.

Looks like we can do this Saturday and Sunday this weekend. 8pm CST, 9pm EST, 6pm PST seems like a good time

9pm EST
That sounds good to me.

If anyone is down to play a little tonight (which the votes seem to say there are) I will be down.

EDIT: As an aside, Are people correctly voting? Because that would mean we have 15 people for tonight and 19 for the other days.

I would like if we had some people join the server tonight so I could tweak anything that needs to be tweaked before masses join.

I already planned on it ;)

EDIT: Apparently I'm slow and didn't realize the picture pointed to here once the post moved.

EDIT: this is necessary to know because i want to update the newspost picture and origin with it. And I want to play =)
Sorry to basically double post, but I don't know which thread see's more attention (I'd actually assume this one, over the "news" post, now.)

Avv is talking about switching from CS to NS. No, that's one of the things they took away with the move to Steam. Sucks :(
