Played around with it for a bit....then realize it'll be probably be better that I have something planned than trying to wing it.

Just open it up in the SDK. If you see the map ingame, the unfinished map will be available in the sdk. It's located in the same folder as the default save folder for the portal 2 SDK, so you won't even have to dig around for it.
Anyways, did some poking around with linked_portal_door or whatever it's called, and, well, let's just say that I'll have a lot of fun after my classes finish :3

It's basically a map tricking PeTI into some mechanics that aren't built into the tool (mainly triggers and timers). Essentially, the map revolves around a "cube dispenser" ... not the tube one, but one made of pushers that only pushes if there are cubes present and dispensers groups of cubes instead one at a time. Just an experiment in stretching the capabilities of the tool.

I made a little map with this one concept of lasers powering itself:

Here's the description of it on my workshop (since I highly recommend reading it first):
You first need to "power up" the chamber by first using the laser activated button. After that, the chamber is now powering itself. That means that if you break the circuit, the entire chamber will power down. However, the larger the circuit, the longer this will take to propagate. Therefore, you can momentairly break the circuit to "power" other parts of the chamber. You would also need to shut down parts of the chamber to advance. This is done by directing a laser path to another laser reciever. Be careful though, you only have the time it takes for the shutdown to propagate through the entire circuit.
NOTE: It is VERY possible to get stuck on this map (quick save after each section). I was going to add some safe guards to prevent this and methods to jump start the network again, but unfortunately, this chamber is VERY near the item limit allowable in PeTI. Also, there may be various unintended solutions here and there that may break the solutions to the other sections. Also, try not to lose the reflection cube on each section before solving it. The cube dispensers were removed to lower the item count.
