Zero loading screens in d3. This game felt like Skyrim all over again. Also a ~2 second CD isn't what I had in mind for potions. I'm sure other people like you will love it, but for me it was a huge let-down.

Really? You don't see why people compare these two games?

I absolutely see why, but I still think it's silly. You're probably not the kind of person I'm talking to, but people seem to take it as far as you're only allowed to like one game and one has to triumph over the other. Runic isn't trying to usurp Diablo, and Blizzard doesn't give a shit about Torchlight. Diablo is probably a really fun game, but there are deeper reasons other than "which one is better" why I'm playing Torchlight today instead of D3.

There's no cooldown on potions again
They have an 8 second cooldown.
There's also no graphical improvement over the first Torchlight.
Graphic engine is improved, dynamic weather, particle effects... there's definitely better graphics
This game seems extremely easy,
You do realize you can pick the difficulty? How far did you even get, anyway? I'm not even on a hard difficulty and my pet dies pretty often if I don't watch it.
The areas are EXTREMELY small, there are loading screens all over the fucking place.
You must be playing a different game. Every dungeon/etc area is large, taking me at least 20min to even begin to explore most of it. There are no loading screens except between areas, and you aren't doing that too often. Comparing Skyrim is a bad thing, because Skyrim you often fast-travel or move to different cities commonly. In this, you're often exploring dungeon areas.

[EDIT] Actually there's not even loading screens between areas.

Been playing beta all weekend, really enjoying it. I'm happy with paying $20, and depending on the amount of content I'd totally be willing to pay more. I just moved between Estherian Refuge and the main part of The Frosted Hills. Smooth transition, no loading. Loading only seems to appear between major zones.

Now... considering that people completed all of D3 on the hardest difficulty in 4 days, on solo... I'm glad I didn't buy D3.

Keep eating up all the dumb shit the internet is feeding you. I've put 40+ hours into the game already and I'm not even past nightmare.

Yep. One guy did it, so that means you're obviously as good as him. And apparently 96 hours isn't a good length for a game any more.

Not to mention he was using a broken build with a tiny HP pool + stacking HP regen. His build made him basically invincible, he didn't explore any of the game, he simply ran to the end of it. Fun.

Someone still interested in the 4 pack? I think I still have copies, no one had messaged me on Steam.
