Well I went ahead and purchased it, I'll let you guys know how I like it.
You can get it for $15 here using this voucher: PCGMR-ALLIN-GREEN. If you've used GMG before you might have some store credit that can knock a few more dollars off of the price.

I kind of enjoyed it. Though $20 was a little steep. I only got it since I heard that people said it was good. I'd recommend waiting until it gets cheaper.
I only joined the Dawngaurd because of the better crossbows.
Plus,

You can still be a vampire lord after you beat the main Dawnguard quest even if you side with the Dawnguard. Serana turns you into one if you ask. Or you can help her cure her vampirism, but I don't know why you would want to do that. It is much more advantageous to keep her as a vampire. Furthermore, you can still get the arrows to block out the sun if you ask Serana.
Just bought, it seems buggy. Certain doors won't open. NPCs won't talk or do what they are supposed to. Sometimes Quests don't start when they should or progress through stages correctly. I think I'll leave it until the first patch comes out. Kinda disappointed.

Well, I think I'm going to do what I do with every Elder Scrolls game so far.
1) Buy the Vanilla game on sale at about 40-50% off and beat it and a good portion of content. (done)
2) Wait for all the DLCs to come out and buy them all at once or wait for the GOTY edition. (see you in a year or two)
3) Install all of the DLCs along with 5-10 of the most popular and best mods.
4) Play it a second time without getting absolutely tired of it by playing each DLC as it comes out.

Pretty much how I feel about it too. I enjoyed it, but I did not think it was worth the $20.
As for bugs, the only bugs I ran into were small ones involving Serana where sometimes she won't leave combat (solved by just attacking her until she goes down or a fus ro dah) and her not leaving the sneak mode pose. So nothing really game breaking.
First time I played it the Dawnguard fort floor I guess didn't load so I would just fall through this included the npcs but I just loaded the save and it was fine but it did this more then once.
Also for the longest time I couldn't figure out what that weird noise around Serana was then I realized it was her skin burning.
Not going to bother making a new thread for it as it's very small. But the second DLC has been announced - Hearthfire.
Pretty much exactly what it looks like. The Sims Skyrim mod. You can buy land, build a house, have a family and die. Seems to be a lot like the popular Build Your Own Home mod that was uploaded 3 Months ago, with a few extras thrown in.
Most likely going to be out in October for PC(& PS3). 4th of September for 360. Probably €5.

Though I like the idea and personally don't really like any of the houses in Skyrim.
Its BS that there are so many mods that do exactly this.
If its free then good job Bethesda otherwise I would pay maybe even 1$.
Still wanna make my own sick nasty house.
Its going to be 400 ms points or simply 5$.
I did buy it and bought land then never touched Skyrim
