That's amazing. So it's just something you have to do to the map, not something each individual has to do to their files/folders? I'm pretty excited it's that easy. First official night starts in less than 2 hrs! I set it for 10EST I know a lot of West Coasters will join later as usual and thats cool.

From what I can tell all that game is is telling your horse to go do things then waiting for it to get back, and when it gets horse sick, you make it horse better.

You can do it both ways, and it's only an assumption. I haven't actually tried it. It would work like this:
  1. Unpack CS:S shared GCF to CS:S main directory.
  2. Run packrat for the map you want
  3. Hope it gets everything
It could make the map file size increase an ass load, depending on how many materials/sounds/models the map uses. But for the most part, all standard DE/CS entities work. Custom gimmicky maps that have gimmicky effects may not be fully functional.

Is the SDK out yet?

If not, how do we know that func_vehicle hasn't been included?

I made an untextured ka_ map using the CS:S sdk, but doubt anyone would play it.

Installing CS:GO SDK right now. Just installed SDK. no func_vehicle. don't feel like dicking around with entities to see if there's another way.

When you are dead you can take control of a bot-player by pressing the E key. For a little while i was doing sm_slay @all when all the human players were dead and the game was going no where, that is no longer needed.

There was a reoccurring bug where the whole screen stays blurry when you spawn, to fix it you just need to pop up the buy menu for a split second.

Tonight we had 4 custom maps in rotation(tricky to find maps that have enough spawns and are not broken), with about 10-20-ish players for a few hours. I played against bots for an hour to seed some people in before the j2 regulars came in.
