CS: GO Flickering
As many of you know I run 3 screens in an Eyefinity setup.
With my ultra wide screen I get flickering of any overlay, game menu or weapon/player model, on my center screen. The way to fix this is with running fullscreen window mode and taking a performance hit. This is so far the only way I have found to eliminate this. Seems to be MSAA related as changing the levels produces different levels of flicker which may require a driver update to fix.

I think you're the 1% of the community running eyefinnity.
Us 99%ers only have 1 screen.

Because, since you don't know me, there is a great possibility that I'm on an higher intellectuel level then you are on.

Yes but this way other people can search and find the solution even if they aren't in J2 driving page count and hopefully bringing in new members.

Re: CS: GO Flickering
What kind of frame rate are you getting in CS:GO with your 3 screens?

Re: CS: GO Flickering
IDK seems a bit iffy on the menu as low as 30 fps but in game is fairly smooth
EDIT: as low as 50 FPS but other then that it was consistenly 60+fps through out.

Job's was a sales man, and a general horrible person as any sales man is. I take that comparison as an insult.

Oh, I've gotten used to my 120hz screen. I'm finding the odd time dropping from 120+ to 90 looks very choppy.scobywhru wrote:IDK seems a bit iffy on the menu as low as 30 fps but in game is fairly smooth

Eyefinity being ATi/AMD thing, so no. There was an updated Catalyst driver a while back but I haven't played CSgo to test if it fixed it or not.

Yeah still occurs, looks like one of the adaptive AA modes, I have seen similar flickering on semitransparent overlays before.
