I saw this post on reddit and figure some of y'all would enjoy running around this rad project. For those unaware, Azeroth is the setting for World of Warcraft.

The download is only a couple gB however it extracts to ~24gB. "The download contains map files for Eastern Kingdom and Kalimdor plus two essential plugins for running a Bukkit server. Bukkit is needed to play the map properly; there are no equivalent plugins for single-player at this time."

Would be better if a map like this could be generated by a plugin rather than that huge download.

lolno, a map is tinier than a plugin to generate the entire thing considering the plugin would have to store all the map info in some form or another along with the generation code.
Ikri - About to head home now. If I'm not back in Eugene in 10 hours, it's probably because we hit a deer and the deer won, or lost, depending on how you look at the situation. Ouch.

World of Warcraft is an excellent game, and having a Azeroth minecraft map will be awesome, don't expect me to be online in the next 3 week, will be busy exploring the world of Azeroth.
PS: Joking, won't be leaving for 3 weeks, but i must say that playing this map will be awesome. :PNothing to see here.

Meh, I personally don't like the game at all. For one thing my Dad's friends got fired from work because they were so addicted to the game.
