Fair enough, but what about when the server is full? There's always enough new people voting for the same stock maps to out-vote the other players who don't want those maps. It doesn't mean that the majority of the server wants to play those maps again, just that the majority of players can't all agree on something different.mbaxter wrote:Stock maps get us players when the server's quiet.

Why cant we just make the map rotation random so people will stop bitching about this map getting picked too much and that map never getting picked.

I agree with this fully. An old server I used to play on had the maps in a constant rotation, meaning that every time I was able to play at that time, it would be on the exact same map. What I'm saying here, is that so long as the rotation is completely randomized, I'd be fine with it. Till then, the voting system needs to be reworked a bit if new players are gonna vote for the same maps over and over and over and ogre and over.

Everyone votes on RTV options, top three (or whatever) are then up for voting.
