Fair enough, but what about when the server is full? There's always enough new people voting for the same stock maps to out-vote the other players who don't want those maps. It doesn't mean that the majority of the server wants to play those maps again, just that the majority of players can't all agree on something different.

I agree with this fully. An old server I used to play on had the maps in a constant rotation, meaning that every time I was able to play at that time, it would be on the exact same map. Everytime I was able to play, it was always on Beerbowl.

What I'm saying here, is that so long as the rotation is completely randomized, I'd be fine with it. Till then, the voting system needs to be reworked a bit if new players are gonna vote for the same maps over and over and over and ogre and over.

So maybe we remove the vote for a while, just to see how it works. I would love to try some old maps again and forcing a random playlist will let everyone try some new things for a change.

Couldn't this be easily solved with a two tier voting system?

Everyone votes on RTV options, top three (or whatever) are then up for voting.
Because, since you don't know me, there is a great possibility that I'm on an higher intellectuel level then you are on.
