ARE YOU READY?
I have seen hell and I went through it, I witnessed and perceived my own downfall and felt more miserable than any kind of torture could make me feel. Still I survived and walked onwards without hesitation despite the hardships and (mental) pain it inflicted. Now I am here, gone through hell, returned from this purgatory that life is...and gave you a headshot! BOOM BABY, good to be back folks!

Re: ARE YOU READY?
The past three years the sale has started a week later than the prior one, If it doesn't start next week then Valve will be setting a pattern so ridiculous that by the year 2019 the summer sale will be starting in September.

Or they're going to sync it up with the Christmas Sale so they won't have to do another Summer Sale! D:
Re: ARE YOU READY?
Nah I think that if their plan is to continue with thursday start dates, it would make the most sense to start next week (or the week after I suppose). Perhaps they didn't want to start on the fourth, since many americans are busy. Better to start off not on a holiday in my opinion. Starting in June feels a bit early to me.

Re: ARE YOU READY?
I never have any steam funds during these stupid things.
Edit: Furthermore, I never have money anyways, let alone any money to buy deliciously cheap steam games my PC probably can't play anyways.

Winter sale is great, but I have less time to enjoy games due to schoolVelp wrote:What about the winter sale? I've always liked that one more.marbear wrote:The summer sale is literally my favorite holiday.

Re: ARE YOU READY?
You play all the games you get in a good deal? That doesn't sound like a steam gamer.marbear wrote:Winter sale is great, but I have less time to enjoy games due to school

Re: ARE YOU READY?
Yup! As a poor college student, I only buy games under $5, and only a few at that. Gotta make it worth my money
Doesn't change the fact that I love sales!

Re: ARE YOU READY?
Also a good plan for everyone is buy the games as a gift and leave them in your steam inventory if you don't play it ever you can trade it away or gift it to someone who wants it.

Along with this, it's also not a bad idea to invest in TF2 keys to use for buying games. I bought Alan Wake, a $30 game, for 2 keys. Bought Arma 2 and Arma 2 OA for 5 keys as a set. Key's being $2.50 a piece if you buy them from the TF2 store, or even less if bought off the community market. Anything you miss in sale you can probably find easily and buy off some sap wanting to unbox dem dere tf2 hats.
