When you compile, do you do the regular compile or advanced compile?

Go to expert compiling mode, go to your CSG line. At the very end of the line, add this in:

Code: Select all

-wadinclude wadnamehere.wad
crap

^ ^ ^ What he said ^ ^ ^

OK, Notice all those options in ZHLTReference that I linked you to? Those are all compiler options that you can play with.

well nothing really, but when you start getting into more complicated mapping, it might be a good idea to change to zoners, but the WC compilier tools, arent really that great

If by "aren't really that great" you mean "cryptic, outdated, buggy, WAY less efficient, and generally shitty" then yes, I suppose they are.

Use zoners and you will get a faster compile time, not to mention error messages that actually make sense. No one uses the tools that come with Worldcraft if they can at all help it.
