Kerbal Space Program

Post by Rat-morningstar » Sun Aug 14, 2011 6:40 am

something i stumbled upon a few days ago
as far as the story goes, basically, some aliens want to go to outer space and you need to help them by building a rocket

it's currently in alpha, i think, and you can download it for free
http://kerbalspaceprogram.com/

however, you can pre-order it minecraft style and get it for $7 now

the game itself is incredibly modular so it's really easy to add parts
and you'll probably want some since there's basically one of each in the "vanilla" version

i recommend at least downloading the sunday punch pack

I played the free version for a while, had fun blowing up shit, never made it to orbit though.

Had played it for days like months ago. It looses steam pretty quickly.

There isn't a lot more than building ships, sure its fun to get into orbit. Once you have gotten the whole stable orbit, de-orbit burn thing down it feels like you have beat the game.

I don't know what you would call it, honestly. I played it for only a few minutes, but basically you just build a spaceship for aliens to get into outer space.

It's pretty much just a simple physics game.

Wow, I usually spend an average of 10 minutes making my ships. That's probably why I've never even been in orbit.
