What, there was a Japanese town or something. I haven't been to it yet. I think Pentagram will be up here soon, that might be fun.

Here: http://www.sanfranciscochinatown.com/

Largest and oldest of the American Chinatowns. Lotsa good eats and neat things to see (like hanging pig faces LOL). It's like traveling to Hong Kong, without all the completely Chinese signs and random embarrassing cavity searches... :p

But you really need someone to go with you who knows the area to really enjoy it. I was with some family that lived over that way when I visited... :sadasfuck:

whats the address? I would love to try them out. I am always down for a good deli sandwich.
It isn't the best sandwich shop but like I said they are good people and they are on San Jose Ave across from Balboa Park, the exact address I don't know off hand but there aren't any corner stores except them.

Re Oakland being scary: Just stick around chinatown, city center and jack london square in Oakland proper. There's some good stuff around those areas. I've been fucked with far more in San Fran than I ever have in Oakland.

But San Francisco's great yeah.

go to that ice cream place that sells jesus juice ice cream.

Was about to agree with this, reminded me I'm actually going to be lost there on Sunday. In my defense, I'll already be drunk (fuck yeah Caltrain) and I'll just following everyone else to Oktoberfest by the Bay. Can't get too lost.

Scoobs and I will likely be at Oktoberfest, but I need to figure out this big monster KT lightrail. I can take the train from Metro Church Station and it's a straight shot from there, so whatevs. The boozes be flowing.

It was either beer or a renaissance faire on Sunday. Beer sounds easier.
