Like every RAGE game, it will drop below 30hz at times. It's not as bad as SA on PS2 or GTA4 on consoles, at least my memory of those games. It seems to run better than RDR on PS3 as well.

Also, probably one of the best features in the game is the ability to go in/out of buildings without loading anything, you just walk through the door. Super convenient
I feel so bad for Wade. He doesn't deserve all that shit.

And the long loading times are worth it. Reminds me of the Sims 3.

Ugh my hands, these crappy PS3 triggers. I need to get some of the trigger-extenders.

Considering how well Max Payne ran all around on PC's, I'm less inclined to believe we'll get an unoptimized mess like GTAIV PC.

why should they care about a PC version? They already made history and sold billions this week. I'm sure optimizing games for PCs is a much bigger pain than consoles. They can keep a positive reputation and limit pirating by keeping it on console.

Because they're a company dedicated to making money, and by postponing a PC and possibly next-gen release they can sell multiple copies of the same game. This isn't exactly a new sales tactic.

uh, are you guys idiots or what?
aiming on the pc has been god-tier for every single GTA

Just wait for it to be ported, it's not like you are gonna run of games to play until it gets ported.

Aren't PC gamers a relatively small market compared to consoles? Yeah the next-gen re-release might also be a good time to throw it on pc, im just very skeptical on the support and optimization of it on PC.

No, PC is not a small market it is either greater then any console or a little less then a console in terms of sales numbers depending on who you ask and what statistics they look at. A high end game won't sell as well on a PC vs console since players may not be able to play it on there PC but they can on there consoles, as an example Skyrim sold ~59% on 360 27% on PS3 and 14% PC. Also as an example Halo Reach and Starcraft 2 were both released in 2010 in the first 30 days Halo Reach sold 3.3 million Copies and Starcraft 2 sold 3 million.

PCs are on a decline except when it comes to custom made gaming hardware which shows year over year growth. Source

Scooby with the facts.

I doubt rock star will be doing much other than dlc and optimization for next gen and PC.

Personally, I'm waiting for a PS2 port for this.
