Hellboy is 100% right in this. Epicnamebro is more of a game strategy person and less story driven about his videos. Vaati Vidya is only story driven, as can bee seen by his expansive prepare to cry playlist.

WRONG. Chaos blade does more damage than the blacksteel. Also, get some strength, use the anvil on a stick and you can one shot backstab cheaters. Can confirm that it will work.

Not if you are dex build. Chaos blade only has an A ranking at +5, but Blacksteel goes to S at +10. Meaning at 50 dex, blacksteel does more damage and it doesn't kill you to use it.

I'm not going to change my build/style to play with cheaters. That't silly.
