If we had the numbers, it'd be pretty interesting to see a j2 crew in this game considering how much the gameplay relies on cooperation.

the only BF game I care about is PvZ: Garden Warfare.

(note that I am super excited for Garden Warfare)

DICE is doing MP (with Garden Warfare being good at least on X1/360, more non-DICE EA teams should get to do their own MP)*, and I'm hopeful they can do some interesting things in a smaller-scale MP game.

This isn't the Visceral game we care about (motherfucking uncharted: star wars), but maybe they can do some cool shit in the SP.

*though scheduling is probably the reason to split SP/MP

Boom, it's in your games tab. No idea how long this exploit will be open, but I'm downloading it right now so I guess I'll let you guys know if it's actually fun or not. But I mean let's be honest it's not Bad Company 3.

Signed up for the beta yesterday and played a few matches. As per usual, the trailer extensively overhypes the gameplay which is really no different from the previous BF; not really enough new content to warrant a completely new game.

First impression of this is that it's terrible. Every round I played lasted about 1 minute and was just one big snipe fest. I was actually hoping this would improve on BF4s "too many giant open maps" problem but it shockingly doesn't. You would think urban environments would have tighter spaces but the beta map is just these huge streets with no cover- leading to the snipe fest.

And I never did figure out what exactly the objective was because the round kept ending before I could get any sense of what was going on.

Also the hitboxes are horrible, and I don't mean player hitboxes I mean for objects and geometry. Time after time I found myself aiming around a corner or the edge of a car only to see my bullets hit an invisible wall.

So to summarize: It's a BF4 mod and a bad one at that. Don't even waste your time with the beta and certainly don't buy the full game.
