THIS IS NOT A THREAD FOR OFF-TOPIC CHAT OR TO REQUEST ADMIN
To receive a FREE reserved slot, register your SteamID to your forum account. To do this:
- Go to your User Control Panel.
- On the left, under Options, click Profile.
- On the right, there's a listing for SteamID with a green Sign in through Steam button. Click the button and log in to your Steam account.
- You should now see your SteamID listed on the Edit Profile page, as well as on your forum posts and profile.
How reserved slots work:
- You will always be able to join the server, regardless of server capacity (so long as the server is not full of reserved players).
- When the server is full (32/32 or such), you can join server via console (by typing: connect "ip"), and the server will kick a non-reserved player for you.
- You will not be kicked to make room for another player, as long as the server has non-reserved players. See this thread for more info.
- Your reserved slot will apply for all of our Source based servers (e.g. TF2, CSS, Garry's Mod), so you don't need to reapply for each mod.
- Reserved slots take effect upon map change. After you've registered your SteamID, you will have to wait for the server to change map before you'll be able to make use of it.
NOTE: If you are a Source Admin or Donor, you already have a reserved slot; there is no need to request one.
We do NOT store your Steam account name or password. All account validation is handled by Steam themselves. The only information we store here is the account ID retrieved from the Steam servers upon successful login.

From now on, you will no longer have to request a reserved slot. After you've linked your Forums account with your SteamID, you will automatically receive a FREE reserved slot on our Source server(s).

It should be User Control Panel -> Profile, and then the Steam ID option should be directly above the Xfire one.

I just switched to the dark theme and that option seemed to disappear, so looks like it is the theme itself.

It's in char, which is my dark theme. I'll have to look why it's not on KoD's.

You would figure with an actual button being displayed that has functionality that it would show up on all themes.

That's the problem with template based website software like phpBB. I'll see about adding it to whatever theme you're using.

I just registered my SteamID to my forum account, but it's still not letting me get in when the server is full. Do I have to wait a period of time for it to take effect, or is there more involved in it?

I get the same issue too. I'm assuming it takes a bit of time to go into effect.

Are you trying to join via console or other method?
