Anybody play this? I watched a couple of let's play videos and it seems to be similar to dwarf fortress, without the clunky UI.

What a good joke. Anyway, the game looks interesting. I always hear about dwarf fortress, but the whole asci graphics and hard difficulty made me not even try. This might be a good first game to try out for this genre.

I've played a bit of it. It's definitely worth a play if you get a chance. I believe bloodcrow is also interested in it last I talked to him about it.

I don't think there are any plans for multiplayer. It's intended to be more like dwarf fortress.

Last I read up on it they claim it's a story driven rogue like game with a deep damage model, you can have hands, feet, arms, shoulders, jaws, etc destroyed in combat. It also has a cover system and weapon system that is in depth with accuracy, AOE, etc. Along with skills that are trained and many interesting attributes the settlers are spawned with.
